Dr. Brijesh Patel is a distinguished academician and researcher currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Aeronautical Engineering at MATS University, Raipur. With an extensive background in both Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering, Dr. Patel has established himself as a leading voice in unmanned systems, aircraft structures, and robotics.His academic foundation is built on a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from MATS University, complemented by an M.E. in Aeronautical Engineering from Hindustan University and an MBA from Dr. C.V. Raman University. Dr. Patel’s professional journey is marked by international excellence, including a tenure as a Post Doctoral Researcher at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. He has also held significant leadership roles such as Principal of the School of Engineering & IT and Head of the Department of Aeronautical Engineering.An innovator at heart,
Dr. Patel holds several published patents, including designs for a Disk Type Hexarotor Multicopter and a Vehicle-To-Vehicle Alerting Mechanism. His research footprint includes over 50 publications in prestigious Scopus and SCI indexed journals, covering topics from AI-driven robotics to composite materials. Beyond the lab, he has successfully supervised numerous Master’s and Doctoral scholars.Dr. Patel’s contributions have been recognized with Faculty Accreditation by the International Accreditation Organization (USA) and Best Paper awards at international conferences. A multifaceted individual, he is a Life Member of the Aeronautical Society of India , a recipient of the Rajya Puraskar in Bharat Scouts and Guides , and a state-level bronze medalist in Judo
